Fortune 50 CPG Company embarked on a strategic licensing partnership to market a new natural line of Burt’s Bees toothpastes to mass retailers. The company selected D-Terra to help manage the Canadian market introduction. Currently, D-Terra manages the Health Canada relationship, registration and importation process.  D-Terra is also listed on all product packaging with our registration partner as the importer of record.

The Opportunity

CPG Company approached D-Terra to assist with the Canadian introduction of a new line of oral care products. The products include both Fluoride and Fluoride free toothpastes.

The Strategy & Solution

 

D-Terra’s Product Commercialization Approach:

 

  • Develop partnership with Natural Products Consulting Corporation
  • Manage all product registrations through Health Canada
  • Obtain Natural Product Numbers ( NPN ) for each SKU through Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate
  • Develop On Product/ Pack Labeling language relative to importation
  • Manage TV advertising clearance thru Advertising Standards Canada
  • Importer of Record
  • Manage ongoing QA releases
