SHAWN DODSON
Chief Operating Officer
Shawn Dodson joined D-Terra with the acquisition of NPI in December 2014. Shawn helps D-Terra clients identify and actualize highly efficient and effective manufacturing solutions through the process of commercialization.
Shawn honed his consultative and strategic skills in Operations Management, Operational Excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, Quality Systems, ISO 9001/13485, Supply Chain Management, Launch Management and Product Development while at NPI. Shawn has managed operations through development, start-up and production of many of NPI’s most successful products, while applying his skills in streamlining both client processes and systems.
Shawn has over 25 years of product development and manufacturing operations experience, which includes 12 years in manufacturing and product development for Xerox, and 13 years with NPI. At Xerox Shawn launched a major digital product with responsibility for manufacturing operations of 65 people and $28 million. He also designed and implemented a factory responsible for manufacturing a critical component of a $12 million color printing system.
Shawn holds a Welding Engineering degree and a Master’s of Science in Industrial Systems and Manufacturing Engineering.
